Covered In Soot
As you may already know, today is fifth Sunday which also means that it is youth Sunday at my church. On youth Sunday I always do the sermon due to the fact that I am in the youth minister. I woke up this Sunday morning as usual to get ready for Church. I wasn’t up long before I got an unexpected phonecall. “The whole church is covered in soot” they said. The furnaces/central units malfunctioned and turned the whole inside of the church black.
Unfortunately its looking like we will have to re-paint everything and church services will be canceled in the meantime. I was really looking forward to giving the message that I had prepared, but God has obviously put it on hold.
Chalkinator and Perpetual Construction on Probation
I have been keeping up with the people that I link and I feel that Chalkinator and Perpetual Construction deserve a probationary period due to their lack of posting. Once they decide to post again I will make their links active. Let this be a lesson to you!!!! The dmac will not support non-posting tech nerds. The two do not coincide.
Brain Twister
You have 9 marbles that look exactly the same. One of the 9 marbles weighs more than the others, but you cannot tell by looking or touching. You are given a balance (scale) to help solve the twister. You get two actions to determine which marble is the heaviest. An action would be putting marbles on each side of the blanace and getting a result. You can do that twice. After the second time you must determine the heaviest marble. How do you do it???
Leave a comment and if you already know this one, leave it alone. I will reveal the winner.
The Color Is Here
If you have looked at my site lately you probably already noticed that I now have color. Over the past 6 months I have learned a great deal in HTML and CSS. I fill very familiar with CSS and I am still amazed at how versatile it is.
I am going to apologize now for not posting that often. It’s the beginning of the semester and I am absolutely swamped at work. I have been in class two days now and I already have a test and a presentation over 3 chapters due on Monday.
Good News!! I bought a house close to town and you know what this means???? The dmac is getting broadband baby!
She’s Fixed Boys
I finally gave up on the fluid design and went with fixed widths. This is going to make it much easier for me to experiment with new ideas. I am still planning on bringing some color to the site so check back in.
